Saturday, February 21st marks the 1st Annual Sausagefest ‘09 at Rock Bottom-Downtown Chicago. This inaugural event will run from 1-5 p.m at State and Grand in downtown Chicago.
This festival will feature sausages, artisanal cheeses and of course….beer from Rock Bottom and other fine breweries! Some of the featured sausages will include:
*Hickory Smoked Duck with Gruyere and Dried Orange
*Lamb and Beef with Plums and Terragon
*Italian with Crushed Malted Barley
*Turkey with Sage Stuffing and Wort Gravy
*Alder Smoked Salmon marinated in IPA with Red Curry, Basil and Roasted Red Peppers
Wow, sounds delicious! Plus there will be many various cheeses and great, fresh beer. And to top all of this off, rumor is that Abe Froman, Sausage King of Chicago, will be a “guest speaker”.
